October is a beautiful time of the year for photography in Switzerland as all the trees get their fall colours October is a beautiful time of the year to visit Switzerland: although it may be getting colder, the trees are all changing color creating beautiful views. Mainly bird pictures from Birds of Eden Some beautiful bird pictures from our visit to the Birds of Eden park by Plettenberg Bay, Garden Route, South Africa. The birds of Eden park (http://www.birdsofeden.co.za/) is the largest free range aviary in the world and is a lovely environment to see colorful birds.

Lunch with the hippos, weavers weaving, lions and cheetahs One Sunday in October we went to Mpongo park to have "lunch with the hippos". The lunch was great, the hippos entertaining and we got some great pictures of the hippos and some weavers weaving their nests. We then went to the Lion park where we saw lions as well as touched a young cheetah.

A visit to Hermanus during the whale season We visited Hermanus for a weekend during the whale season and got some spectacular whale shots as well as some lovely scenery shots.

Trip into Alicedale ... bushman´s paitings, olive plantation and Xhosa people Pictures from our trip into Alicedale. During the trip, we walked through the bush to a rock with Bushman paintings, visited Alicedale, visisted an Olive plantation and saw traditional Xhosa dances. Also contains some pictures of Xhosa people.

A few weekends ago, we visited Mpekweni beach resort. We had a great time and took some lovely beach photo´s. A few weekends ago, the moon was full and the weather nice, so we had a great excuse to visit Mpekweni beach resort. We had a great time and took some lovely beach photo´s, including sunrise, sunset and night time photos.

During a recent trip, we ran into a chameleon. As they are very slow, we managed to get some great pictures!
